Aged Care Gardening in Adelaide
“Reliable, respectful, and ready when you are.”
A tidy, safe garden makes a real difference at home. We provide patient, dependable lawn and garden care for older Adelaideans, and peace of mind for the family members helping arrange it.
Three Ways to Pay
However You’d Like to Pay, We’ll Make It Easy
Whether you’re paying out of pocket or using a Support at Home package, we work with all three common arrangements.
Pay Privately
The simplest option, straightforward fee-for-service. Perfect if you don’t have a Support at Home package, or you’d prefer not to involve one. We provide a clear invoice for your records.
Self-Managed Support at Home
If you self-manage your Support at Home package, you can use it to pay for our gardening services. We provide a tax invoice with our ABN that you submit to your plan manager for reimbursement.
Through a Registered Provider
If your registered provider arranges it, we can also work as an associated provider (subcontract gardener). Ask your provider whether they’re happy to engage us, most are open to it.
Not sure which option fits your situation? Give us a call and we’ll talk it through with you.
What We Provide
Aged Care Gardening Services
Everything you need to keep the garden tidy, safe, and easy to enjoy.
Lawn Mowing & Edging
Regular mowing with clean, neat edges. Weekly, fortnightly, or monthly visits, whatever works best for you.
Weeding & Garden Beds
Garden beds kept tidy, weeds removed, mulch refreshed. The garden stays looking cared-for between visits.
Pruning & Hedge Trimming
Hedges, shrubs, and small trees trimmed back. Safe clearance around pathways, windows, and entrances.
Leaf & Green Waste Removal
All leaves, cuttings, and garden debris collected and taken away. You don’t lift a finger or fill a bin.
Seasonal Tidy-Ups
One-off spring or autumn tidy-ups to reset the garden. Ideal before family visits, sale of the home, or after a long winter.
Pathway & Access Clearing
Overgrown plants cleared from paths and access routes. Safe, clear walking around the property.
Why Families Choose Us
The Same Friendly Face, Every Visit
We know that having strangers come to the home can feel uncertain, especially for older clients. That’s why we keep things simple: where possible, you see the same gardener each visit. We give advance notice of arrival times, work gently and respectfully around the property, and never use high-pressure sales tactics.
Every quote is written down, every invoice is clear, and every job is done properly. We’re a small Adelaide-based, family-run business, so when you book with us, the same person shows up each visit, not a stranger you’ve never met.
Our existing experience working with NDIS participants means we already understand how funded-care arrangements work, what compliance looks like, and how to communicate clearly with plan managers, providers, and family members.
Helping Arrange Garden Care for a Parent?
Many of our bookings come from sons and daughters arranging garden care for an elderly parent, sometimes from interstate. We make this as easy as possible.
You can arrange and pay on their behalf, receive a brief update from us after each visit by email or phone if you’d like, and have us liaise directly with you on bookings, schedule changes, or anything that needs your input.
We understand the peace of mind that comes from knowing the lawn is mowed, the paths are clear, and someone reliable has been to the home. That’s exactly what we’re here for.

Got Questions?
Aged Care Gardening Adelaide โ FAQ
Everything you need to know about our aged care gardening services.
No, not if you're paying privately. Anyone can book us directly with no assessment, paperwork, or government involvement. You just call us and we come out.
If you'd like to use Support at Home funding, you'd need to be assessed and have an approved package, but we don't run that process, your registered provider or My Aged Care does.
Yes, gardening is on the official service list for the Support at Home program (lawn mowing, pruning shrubs, and similar yard maintenance are included).
If your package is self-managed, you can pay us directly and we'll provide a tax invoice with our ABN that you submit for reimbursement. If you have a registered provider, ask them whether they're happy to engage us as an associated (subcontract) gardener, most are open to it.
Yes. We carry current police checks and we're already familiar with worker screening from our NDIS work. We're happy to provide documentation if your provider or family member would like to see it.
For private-pay clients, we don't charge a separate call-out fee, pricing is straightforward and discussed before any work begins. For Support at Home arrangements, travel may be itemised in line with the relevant guidelines.
Either way, you'll always have a written quote before we do any work, with no surprises on the invoice.
Absolutely, this is one of the most common ways our aged care clients book us. A son, daughter, or other family member (often interstate) arranges the service, pays the invoice, and we provide updates after each visit if requested.
We can communicate with whoever you'd like, you, a family member, or a support coordinator. Just let us know your preference and we'll work to it.
Yes, wherever possible. We're a small Adelaide-based, family-run business, so when you book us, the same person attends, not a different person each time. This makes things easier and more comfortable, especially for older clients who appreciate familiarity.
No problem, life happens. Just let us know as early as you can (a phone call or text is fine) and we'll reschedule. We don't charge for rescheduling with reasonable notice.
Yes, we bring everything we need: mowers, trimmers, blowers, hand tools, and bins for green waste. You don't need to provide or organise anything.
If bad weather makes the work unsafe or unsuitable (wet grass doesn't mow well), we'll contact you in advance to reschedule at no extra cost. We aim to reschedule within the same week where possible.
No. We focus on regular garden maintenance, lawns, hedges, shrubs, garden beds, and waste removal. For tree felling, removal, or any work requiring climbing or chainsaw use at height, you'll need a qualified arborist. We're happy to recommend one.
